About Offnote
Offnote is a scratchpad for Windows 10 and 11, made for the notes people throw away: a phone number, a quick sum, a list for the afternoon. A global hotkey, Ctrl+Alt+Space, opens a single sheet over any app with the caret ready, and Esc puts it away. A keyword on the first line changes what a note does: math works out each line as you type, list makes checkboxes, timer counts down, paste collects everything you copy, and a dropped screenshot turns into text using the OCR engine built into Windows. Notes delete themselves after a week. Offnote is a native WPF app that keeps everything in one file on your PC, with no account, no analytics and no AI. It costs $5 once, with a 7-day trial, and was inspired by Antinote, a scratchpad for the Mac.

A few notes
